Mabanaft Centralises its International Trading Activities in Rotterdam

25.05.2005 - Hamburg:

Mabanaft decided to centralise the international trading activities of Mabanaft International GmbH & Co. KG and B. V. Mabanaft in Rotterdam. As a consequence we therefore will terminate all trading activities in Mabanaft International GmbH & Co. KG in Hamburg and will continue and centralise these in Rotterdam bundling our activities under the leadership of Willem van der Velden.

In developing this strategy Jens Hoffmann and Christian Hanky have stated their intention to continue their career in a different environment and both decided to leave Mabanaft.

After the termination of the trading activities in Mabanaft International we will modify this company into an operational service entity. This means that all operational activities related to this respective Cargo Trading will be handled by this team out of Hamburg. The remaining Mabanaft International business will be managed by Stefan Herde who will further take over the Business Development in Russia and Singapore as a service to B. V. Mabanaft.
