Men’s health encompasses so much more than what’s visible on the surface. In addition to physical challenges, mental and emotional health concerns affect men everywhere, yet many struggle alone, burdened by stigma and societal expectations. High rates of mental health issues, suicide, and life-threatening illnesses like prostate and testicular cancers disproportionately affect men. Unfortunately, these are issues that too often go unspoken.

Movember began in 2003 as a movement encouraging men to grow moustaches in November to spark conversations and reduce the stigma around men’s health. What started as a campaign focused on prostate cancer has grown into a global movement supporting testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. Movember’s goal is to help men live happier, healthier, and longer lives by funding critical health projects, encouraging preventative care, and breaking down the social stigmas that prevent many men from seeking the help they need.
