Mabanaft to supply Qatar Airways and Wizz Air

Mabanaft secures contracts to supply Qatar Airways and Wizz Air at Gardemoen Airport, Norway.

Mabanaft has recently secured contracts to supply Qatar Airways and Wizz Air at Oslo Gardermoen Airport, Norway. The company is delighted to add these two airlines to a steadily growing portfolio of customers active at Oslo.

MEETING DIFFERING NEEDS OF DIFFERENT AIRLINES

Will Wilson, Aviation Marketing Manager at Mabanaft, said; “We’ve been working with Qatar Airways and Wizz Air for a number of years and have developed very good relationships with both. The nature of these two airlines’ businesses is very different; the Qatari flag carrier, Qatar Airways, predominantly transports passengers and cargo long-haul between Oslo and Doha, while Wizz Air, a leading low-cost carrier, services the short-haul domestic and European passenger markets from Oslo. The highly reliable service and competitive offering that Mabanaft provides meets the individual requirements of each airline. We will continue to work in partnership with AFS GmbH to service both contracts.”

MOVING TOWARDS PROJECTED GROWTH STRATEGY

Toby Simmons, Aviation Manager at Mabanaft, said: “We have made a long-term commitment to supply Jet A-1 and Sustainable Aviation Fuel to Oslo and have invested considerably to meet our goal. Securing these contracts demonstrates that there is an appetite for what we offer and represents a significant progression towards achieving and supporting our projected sustainable growth strategy.”
