Mabanaft is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Rena Tegala to its inland sales team. Rena has joined as a national accounts manager and will be helping cover maternity leave for Emily Pike as well as supporting other team members and developing new sales opportunities.

Rena has worked in the industry for over 20 years, acquiring a wealth of knowledge and experience along the way. She has particular expertise in spot sales having set up and managed spot desks for several major suppliers.

A PASSION FOR THE INDUSTRY

“The opportunity to join Mabanaft came at a good time for me,” says Rena, “I felt ready for a challenge and it’s a great company to work for. Having been in the industry for some time I already know several of the people who work here and it’s great to see so many familiar faces. Clare Charlton and I have also worked together before and know that we make a good team. We are both passionate about what we do, which is why we're still in the business.

“At Mabanaft we have great supply locations and we have Mabalive, which is an excellent system. I am looking forward to converting more customers to the huge benefits online administration on Mabalive can offer. I started out covering for someone on maternity leave at Total UK Limited and stayed there for 11 years! So, let’s see whether I can beat my record here at Mabanaft!”

A SAFE PAIR OF HANDS

Clare Charlton, Head of inland sales at Mabanaft said; “Having an additional member in our team, especially someone with so much knowledge and experience, will be a huge benefit. Rena has hit the ground running, she is an extremely safe pair of hands for our customers. Having extra support will also allow us more time to develop customer relationships, including face-to-face meetings which we believe to be essential to truly understanding and meeting our customers’ needs.”
